2013 / Sound and Music in The Avian Kingdom

In this theme residency ARNA welcomed the residents to be inspired to let their creations sing, sound or speak in one of Sweden's best birding areas. The residency resulted in a public event, with performance and music, in the church of Harlösa in collaboration with locals.

"Amplified/Modified" is an electroacustic mass in six movements for choir, organ and field recordings collected from the surrounding areas of Harlösa.
The music piece is inspired by the natural spirits of the Avian Kingdom as well as the unique environment of the Harlösa church, and is a collaboration between: Christopher Reitmaier (USA), Komenczi Bálint (Hungary) and Mateo Mena (Spain).
